SDL: A SOLUTION USED FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN PUBLIC LIGHTING
SIE has structured its offer for public lighting by mounting a full package with financial packages tailored to municipalities.
SDL (Local Development Corporation), with an energy performance contract, is an effective management tool for upgrading the public lighting sector. It offers the town better management of its lighting system by ensuring the correct lighting, meeting international standards, through the upgrading of the park and the optimization of energy consumption. ESCO (Energy Service Company) is committed to achieving the performance targets set in the contract that binds the parties involved. The solution of SDL is a model consistent with Moroccan regulations, leading to an equitable sharing of risks and multiple benefits for the Commune.
Relying primarily on ESCO-type Moroccan SMEs, SIE intervenes to upgrade energetic public buildings by providing expertise in terms of investment and technical expertise.
Through savings on energy bills, the services in question will focus their investments on other activities enabling them to improve their quality of service. The intervention includes implementing energy efficiency measures and also the use of renewable energy sources (CES and photovoltaic installations).
SIE also supports manufacturers in order to optimize their every expenditure, allowing them through an energy performance contract concluded with a specialized company, to rationalize their energy resources use, inducing optimization of direct costs and competitiveness.
